Voice of Reasoning Written by Diane C Francis

We search for a voice of reasoning as our heart breaks

Words of comfort are said but within our mind hard to take

Human nature overthrows many good intentions

Our emotions are raw – the tears from our eyes glisten

We cannot see any joy coming today or tomorrow

Our hearts are burdened with sorrow

But rest assured while in the midst of our storm

God will hid us in His Pavilion in the shelter of His Loving Arms

God is Almighty and sees the ending of our pain filled now

Just wrap yourself in His mercy and He will show you how

To gain strength each time you sigh

To find peace even with each tear you cry

So walk forward despite what you see or hear

Know within your soul the Intercessor of peace is near

Know within your grasp is the power of the Highest Being

Hold on to your faith and not on what you are seeing

Lying Written by Diane C Francis

It is so easy to tell a lie especially what we call little white lies; Like saying we are sick to call off work or saying we are too busy to do something when the real reason is we just don’t want to. We too call this sugar coating a lie. We think these lies are harmless. But when we know who is the father of all lies maybe we would think twice before we tell one. I surely do not want to be associated with the enemy in no way, shape, or form.

You are of your father the devil, and of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. John 8:44

An Overcomer Written by Diane C Francis

I am not under any circumstance

But an overcomer at every chance

I do not have to see what is beneath the surface

Because I have chosen for my life – God’s will and purpose

So I am above all things

That the enemy to my life brings

He cannot permanently pull

me under

For the Holy Spirit in me has it covered

God has already given me the victory

He has set me free

From the drowning forces in life’s undercurrent flow

Yes the Good Shepherd has mercifully let me know

That He has set me high on His solid rock

Because I am one of His sheep in His mighty flock

Life Found in Forgiveness by Diane C Francis

The act of forgiving someone is life within itself. It is a key essence of our beings. God gave His Only Begotten Son through an act of forgiveness. We cannot say I forgive him or her but I won’t forget what he or she did to me. When we harbor unforgiveness in our hearts it becomes debilitating to our souls. It eats us up in the inside. It hurts us more than the person we are angry with. Suppose God said I will forgive them but I am going to keep reminding them of what they did to me. The Word says, For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins I will remember no more. Hebrews 8:12. So, who are we that we cannot forgive others or we more powerful than God?

Living Free – Written by Diane C. Francis

The world teaches us from our youth when we become grown we can do whatever we want. This is the time our lives are truly ours and we can finally start to live freely without having to follow anyone rules. But, this is yet another trick of the enemy. God gives us all free will and we receive it on the very day we enter into this world. However, if our choices are to live in the ways of the world and against the will of God than we are headed toward destruction. Kingdom teaching says we have to lose our lives in order to gain it. Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whosoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? Matthew 16:24-26

A Broken Heart Written by Diane C Francis

Sometimes I wonder why a broken heart is hard to mend

When the pieces seem so far apart with no end

Why does cherished memories of loved ones sometimes bring on pain

When we only want to smile as we think of them again

Why does our mind say to just let go and let God

But our head shakes with a negative nod

Maybe it’s the enemy that wants to use us for his own gain

To further his agenda of sorrow and pain

But I have learned that God has given us a time and a season

To grieve for His purpose and reason

For as we grieve it should cause us to lean in close

To our Savior the most

To just lean on Him to get us through

To understand His promise that He will never leave nor forsake you

He wants us to allow Him to dry our tears and not drown in the sorrowful sea

Because His unconditional love is what He wants us to see

He wants us to know that His love will cover us to go on with the rest of our life

Through the saving grace and mercy of the blood shed through the sacrifice of His Only Begotten Son Christ

I love y’all. ❤️

Sudden Darkness

Have you ever been in a power outage at night while you are home. All of a sudden you were basking in the light and in the next second you are covered in darkness. You did not do anything to cause the darkness, yet you are in it. All you can do is wait and hope that the power (light) will be restored soon. When I was reading the book of Job, I thought about this. Job was a righteous man who walked with God. But he was suddenly and without warning thrust into darkness through losing virtually all that he owned, his children, and his health. Although he initially proclaimed he should have never been born out of his misery, he never cursed God. Satan threw all he could at him to destroy his faith in God and to have him curse God, but Job said (13:25) though he slay me, yet I will trust in Him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

What faith Job had. There is so much we can learn from this Book in the Bible. But the one lesson that stands out for me is when darkness comes suddenly, we have to keep our hope and faith in God to lead us out of it. It is not always because of our sin that darkness comes because Job lived a righteous life but darkness still came. We do not even have the right to question God why the darkness came. All we can do is trust, believe, be absolutely certain, have undeniable faith, hope beyond hope, that God through the blood of Jesus Christ will pull us out of it into His Holy light once again. Yes, I would have fainted so many times if I had not known the goodness of the Lord in this land of the living. To those who are suffering right now and the darkness seems to be overpowering your existence, be of good courage, don’t give in to it. This too shall pass. God has it, but you have to trust Him.
